“I don’t want to marry, I don’t believe in having children”

A 37-year-old woman has sparked widespread online discussions after a viral video in which she openly expressed her rejection of marriage and motherhood.

In the video, she spoke firmly about her personal choices, insisting that people should respect individual decisions without interference or judgment.

Views on marriage and personal freedom

She stated clearly, “I do not want to have kids. I don’t believe in having children.”

She also cautioned against unsolicited advice, saying, “Don’t come and advise me and tell me, Hey, your parents have kids out of you. How did you come to the world?”

According to her, individuals should be allowed to live according to what makes them happy without others projecting expectations onto them.

She added, “People should learn to do what makes them happy. And not project their own life, their own life expectations on other people.”

She strongly criticised societal pressure, saying, “Don’t be telling people what to do with their life. Oh, annoying. I keep getting that crap.”

Personal choices and life decisions

She further explained that she made certain life decisions early, stating, “At 25, I realised I don’t want to get married.”

She also reflected on her earlier fears, including pregnancy and health concerns, noting that these influenced her mindset over time.

The woman added that she has maintained a very private and cautious lifestyle, saying she has not been closely involved with relationships for a significant period.

She concluded by urging respect for women who choose not to have children, stressing that such decisions should not attract pressure or criticism from society.
