Hillside Farmhouse Influencer Kelly Hopton-Jones Accidentally Runs Over Son With Her Car
Emilie Kiser is showing up to support a fellow mom.
Nearly a year after the TikToker’s 3-year-old son Trigg tragically died after accidentally drowning in the family’s pool, she provided words of encouragement to Kelly Hopton-Jones, a parenting influencer who recently revealed she accidentally ran over her toddler with her car.
In the comments section of Kelly’s April 15 Instagram post detailing the incident, during which her 23-month-old Henry suffered pelvic fractures and “a few abrasions,” Emilie wrote, “I’m so incredibly sorry.”
As Kelly, known online as Hillside Farmhouse, described what she called “the worst day” of her and her husband Brian Hopton-Jones’ lives, she shared the pair was “trying to understand how this could have happened when we were right there.”
“We are in shock. We are so sad,” she wrote. However, she noted that her son would be able to recover, adding, “We are so incredibly grateful.”
As for Emilie’s own family tragedy, she’s been vocal about taking “full accountability” for Trigg’s death after he was found unconscious in the pool while her husband Brady Kiser was home with the toddler and their then-newborn Theodore.
