Katy Perry‘s team is responding to Ruby Rose‘s allegations.
After the Orange is the New Black alum accused the “Roar” singer of sexually assaulting her, Perry’s rep denied the claim.
“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false,” a representative for Perry told E! News April 13, “they are dangerous reckless lies.”
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals,” the statement continued, “claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
E! News has reached out to Rose’s team for comment and has not yet heard back.
Rose made the claim after seeing a post about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella set April 11. In the clip, Perry joked about being happy the “Baby” singer had YouTube premium so the crowd wouldn’t have to watch ads during his internet-centered performance.
“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne,” Rose, 40, wrote on Threads in response to the video. “Who gives a s–t what she thinks.”
