Hailee Steinfeld on Home With Josh Allen, Baby Girl

Hailee Steinfeld is throwing a flag on this habit.

As the Sinners actress navigates the early days of motherhood after welcoming a baby girl with husband Josh Allen, she revealed whether their family eats dinner in front of the TV or at the dining table.

“I think it’s a mixture of both,” Hailee told Architectural Digest in an interview published April 7. “The preference is not in front of the TV.”

“I value a meal away from technology, and even if it’s just the two of us,” she said, “if it’s us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal.”

For the Buffalo Bills quarterback and the Pitch Perfect actress—who split their time between Western New York and California—quality time is essential in their home. And sometimes, it’s thanks to a new gadget.

“We just got a new coffee machine,” she revealed. “I’m not the biggest coffee drinker, but I really do appreciate the ritual of it.”
