Hulk Hogan’s Final Interview Before Death Revealed
Like any fight, Hulk Hogan couldn’t predict the outcome of his own story.
Almost a year after the wrestling legend died at the age of 71 from a heart attack, the forthcoming Netflix documentary Hulk Hogan: Real American shows Hulk in his final interview, during which he reflects on his life.
“I can’t predict what the final act of the story is gonna be,” Hulk says in a voiceover in the April 6 trailer. “But the legend of Hulk Hogan will live forever.”
Elsewhere in the trailer for the docuseries the athlete (born Terry Bollea) reflects on living his life in and out of the ring—and he hoped the four, one-hour-long episodes will help shed light on who he really was.
“Some people hate me, but after I’m gone, I think people don’t know the truth,” he said. “Who was this guy really? I really was here for a reason more than just wrestling.”
The docuseries promises to “uncover the man behind the legend” and includes interviews with Hulk’s friends, peers and his ex-wife Linda Hogan.
