Here at Page Six Style, we’re always keeping our eyes peeled for the latest and greatest beauty launches.
So when we read about skincare brand Mutha’s new Eye Maintenance 6-Peptide Eye Mask Prisms — which have already scored a coveted shoutout from Bethenny Frankel — we were immediately intrigued.
The “RHONY” alum shared a snap of the pretty purple packaging on her Instagram Story last week, calling the refreshing patches a “Monday must.”

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a box right after the launch — and after trying them out, I concur with Frankel’s review.
While lack of sleep and a springtime cold had me looking puffy and pale, these eye patches really brought some energy back into my face. (If only they could do the same for the rest of me! Thankfully there’s coffee for that.)

While I’ve tried plenty of eye patches ranging in price from $5 to $55, these are one of my top picks. They didn’t slide around on my face, even though I was cleaning my apartment and picking out an outfit while I tested them.
They provided an immediate cooling effect, and I noticed my under-eye bags looked significantly less puffy after the 20-minute wear time was complete.
Mutha’s founder and CEO, model Hope Dworaczyk Smith, was so obsessed with the product, she rearranged the launch calendar to get them on the market sooner.

“As an esthetician, I’m constantly testing products, but these became a non-negotiable in my routine,” she said in a press release. “I started wearing them everywhere… while doing my hair, answering emails, even to Pilates. I loved them so much that we moved the launch up because I couldn’t keep them to myself.”
The plush prisms are designed to help visibly smooth the look of fine lines and reduce the appearance of puffiness, while brightening and hydrating the under-eye area.
Smith’s brand is a longtime celebrity favorite; it’s appeared on Goop’s gift guides, and even Taylor Swift’s personal trainer, Kirk Myers, is a fan.
“Mutha helps tighten my skin and gives me confidence,” he once told us of the brand’s bestselling Body Butter.
“So helpful in tightening and smoothing!” he added. “The Body Butter is my favorite; it’s so lush.”
