Mel B is saying what she really, really wants to fans.
After months of speculation surrounding a Spice Girls reunion tour, the girl group alum shared insight into why she, Victoria Beckham, Gerri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton won’t be spicing up the stage anytime soon.
“I can tell you it’s not happening,” Mel told HELLO! magazine in an interview published April 3. “If it does, it’ll be a shock to me, let’s put it that way. When I look at that [tour] and at the feeling it gave me, I was in my element, but there comes a time…”
“I’m 50,” she continued. “You can’t be nagging everyone to go on tour if they don’t want to. I laid that to rest when I turned 50.”
And the “Stop” singer (real name Melanie Brown) isn’t sure she would be ready for five to become one, even if her bandmates were interested.
