Anna Duggar is in her brother-in-law Joseph Duggar’s corner.
Josh Duggar’s wife sent the 31-year-old a friendly email on March 21 as he awaited extradition from Arkansas’ Washington County Correctional Facility to Florida over child molestation charges.
“Hey Joseph! Bro, you’ve got our prayers. We love you — however we can help, please let us know,” the message, obtained by People on Thursday, began.
Anna, 37, went on to write that she sent him “some money.”
She also gave him advice for navigating his time in that specific jail, as her convicted sex offender husband was behind bars there between 2021 and 2022.
Josh, notably, is now in a Texas federal prison serving his time for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material.
“Joshua‘s experience there at Washington County was fairly safe,” Anna wrote, requesting Joseph reach out “if there are any concerns for [his] health or safety.”
Highlighting the “two-week commissary delay,” she added, “If you will be there a while, we definitely want to send some goodies your way.”
Anna reminded Joseph not to “talk about anything legal unless you are with an attorney,” explaining that “everything said in these messages, phone calls, and video chats are recorded and turned over to prosecutors.”
She concluded, “Praying for ya, love ya. Anna.”
When Joseph reached out to Anna the following day for help connecting with his wife, Kendra Duggar, she addressed his solitary confinement.
“You can put in a request to chaplain to visit you,” she wrote on March 22. “He can give you more books too.”
Joseph was arrested on March 18 and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim younger than the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 or older.
The alleged incidents with a 9-year-old girl occurred in Florida in 2020.
Two days later, he was charged with four second-degree counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and four second-degree counts of false imprisonment — as was Kendra, with whom Joseph shares four children.
Kendra, who was released the same day as her March 20 arrest, has been in contact with Joseph via phone calls obtained by Page Six.
During their emotional chats, the 27-year-old informed Joseph of the lawyer she’d hired for herself — one from Josh’s legal team — and revealed their children had been “taken.”
The duo, who have been married since 2017, also spoke in a flirty call about Joseph’s jailhouse workouts and “trim” figure.
Joseph appeared in court in Florida on Tuesday and was released on a $600,000 bond.
