Jamie Lee Curtis tearfully revealed Wednesday that Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, were murdered on her eldest daughter Annie Guest’s birthday.
“Rob and Michelle are her godparents,” the actress shared on the “IMO” podcast Tuesday.

Curtis added that Annie gave birth to her first child the following week, which the Oscar winner called “life on life’s harshest terms and and life on life’s most beautiful, perfect terms.”

The “Freakier Friday” star explained, “My beautiful daughter who loved [the Reiners] — as we all did — managed to be able to metabolize her grief and sadness, as we all have had to do.”

Curtis, notably, was one of the first A-lister’s to pay tribute to the late couple after their tragic deaths last year.

Curtis added, “Our ONLY focus and care right now is for their children and immediate families and we will offer all support possible to help them. We have lost great friends. Please give us time to grieve.”

Rob and Michele were killed in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14, 2025. The famed director was 78, and his wife was 70.

The LA County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the couple died from “multiple sharp force injuries” and ruled their deaths a homicide.

Their middle child, Nick Reiner, was arrested and charged with two-counts of first-degree murder the day after their slayings.

If convicted, the 32-year-old could be facing life in prison without parole or the death penalty.

Nick, who struggled with drug addiction for years, was diagnosed with schizophrenia before his parents’ deaths.

His siblings, Romy, 28, and Jake Reiner, 34, have not attended any court hearings since the murders.

Nick is next scheduled to appear in front of a judge on April 29.
