Taylor Swift avoids awkward run-in with ex John Mayer at Paul McCartney’s LA concert

Taylor Swift avoided a near run-in with her ex John Mayer while attending a Paul McCartney concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The “Lover” songstress, 36, and Mayer, 48, were seen separately talking to guests at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, per photos obtained by TMZ.

Swift briefly chatted with fellow hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo before leaving the venue from a different exit than the “Gravity” crooner.

It’s unclear whether the exes saw each other inside the venue, but they appeared in good spirits for the star-studded outing.

Swift and Mayer’s relationship dates back to 2009 when the latter expressed interest in collaborating with the “Cruel Summer” singer.

That same year, they released “Half of My Heart,” which was featured on his album “Battle Studies.”

Then, in January 2010, the duo was seen dining together with friends in Nashville, and Mayer later honored Swift at the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony in June 2010.

The Grammy winner dropped her hit track “Dear John” on her “Speak Now” album in October 2010, which is rumored to be about Mayer.

“Don’t you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games. When I loved you so?” she sings.

Mayer addressed rumors that the track was about him in a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone, saying, “I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do.”

“I never got an email. I never got a phone call,” he said. “I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”

The “New Light” singer referred to the song as “cheap songwriting” and accused Swift of “abusing” her talent.

Swift clapped back, calling Mayer “presumptuous” while addressing the comments in an interview with Glamour that same year.

“I never disclose who my songs are about,” she added.

The “Love Story” singer’s now engaged to her fiancé, Travis Kelce, while Mayer was last rumored to be dating influencer Kat Stickler last October.
