Jockey Joshua Parr is light on for numbers at Gosford on Thursday, but he is confident he can still leave the track with a winning double courtesy of two top chances.
Parr, who is in the top 10 on the Sydney jockey premiership, will kick off the day riding Lego Master in the Central Coast Motor Group Maiden Handicap (1600m) where he will combine with trainer Bjorn Baker.

Lego Master runs in the colours of Darby Racing, for which Parr and Baker have enjoyed enormous
success with Overpass.
“Lego Master is only a lightly raced horse, but he has shown ability and looks to have struck a very winnable race at Gosford,” Parr said.
“He wasn’t beaten far at Orange at his first start and since then, he has been placed at Nowra and Goulburn. He fought on strongly after racing on the speed over 1500m at Goulburn the other day. He steps up to the mile at Gosford and if he can repeat that sort of run on the tighter track then he should take plenty of running down.”
Parr’s other ride at Gosford will be last-start resuming winner Ferinzo in the Central Coast Graite
C,G&E Benchmark 64 Handicap (1100m).
Ferinzo is trained by Jake Hull and has shown plenty of ability, having finished second on debut at Grafton in July 2024 and then winning at that track later the same month before being tipped out for a spell.

Ferinzo had two trials in November and December 2024, but was out of action and not seen at the trials again until December when he finished third at Gosford before winning a hit-out at Wyong.
