Man fighting for life after incident on Logan Motorway at Forest Lake
There are grave fears for a man struck by a car while stopped in a highway emergency bay on Boxing Day.
The man is believed to have been standing outside his car in the bay on the side of the Logan Motorway’s westbound lanes at Forest Lake about 11.55am on Friday December 26. His car was also struck.
He suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
A woman in her 30s, who was driving the second car, was taken in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital. She is currently helping police as they investigate the incident.
A child was also taken in a stable condition to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Police urge anyone with information about the crash, particular dashcam vision or CCTV of the incident or either car in the moments beforehand, to come forward.
