England’s bruising tour of Australia has taken another turn for the worse, with a member of their security team making physical contact with a cameraman from a host broadcaster.
The England team was walking through Brisbane Airport en route to Adelaide on Saturday when a Seven cameraman, Nick Carrigan, filming the team, felt a fully extended left arm of the security official in his chest.

The official had become agitated with the cameraman.
“Out of my face, mate, out of my face, out of my face,” the security official bellowed at the cameraman after leaving an escalator and taking aim at the Seven employee.
When asked by the cameraman what he was doing, the security official replied: “You’re in my face, mate, that’s what you are doing.”
Seven aired footage of the incident on its nightly news bulletin. The cameraman did not appear to have intruded on the English players.
“Earlier today, there was an incident at Brisbane Airport involving a 7 News camera operator and a member of the England Cricket team’s travelling party,” Seven said in a statement on Saturday.
“While conducting routine filming in a public space, the camera operator was physically confronted despite acting respectfully and professionally. The safety and wellbeing of our staff is paramount. This matter is being taken seriously and is now being managed through the appropriate channels.”
