Blacktown shooting: two people arrested
Two people have been arrested near where another person was shot dead in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services responded to a public place shooting on Carinya Street at Blacktown, with two people arrested on Carinya Street after a short pursuit.
One person was treated at the scene but was not transported to hospital, a NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said, referring further question to NSW Police.
Police said there is no threat to the public but urged people avoid the area due to an ongoing police operation.
