The Fremantle line has also been disrupted.
Train replacement buses are being organised, and Transperth warned the disruption will likely continue past peak hour.
“Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services,” the authority said.
Meanwhile on the roads, a crash on Tonkin Highway closed the right lane and blocked traffic to the airport.
The crash, which also happened near Perth Airport after Dunreath Drive in Redcliffe, has blocked part of the highway to traffic.
Main Roads WA has advised motorists to drive safely on their approach.
